As Catholics, we are called to engage in the public square and work for the common good. On November 8th, voters across South Carolina and the United States will head to the polls to elect a President and their representatives in Congress. In prayer and in public, our voices are urgently needed to bring Gospel values to bear on vital decisions being made by those who represent us.
Our bishops have asked that we fast* on Fridays leading up to the election and to pray one Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be for each week’s prayer intention. Click here to sign up for a weekly reminder and the intention.

*Examples: giving up meat, a particular food or beverage, a form of entertainment, etc.
