Please join your LVG family of faith for some farm-fun-filled service at Serenity Farms (located 1862 Saluda Dam Road
Easley, SC 29640), a part of the Mill Village Farms, on Saturday, August 23rd from 9am-noon. Mill Village Farms, a new urban farm model transforms vacant properties into bountiful gardens to grow locally-sourced produce for communities that often have limited access to fresh and local foods. At the service we will be performing various gardening activities. Let us know you’re attending by calling Tyler at 803-422-6118 or replying on the Facebook event.

When the service project is finished (around noon), those interested will gather for lunch at Tupelo Honey, a soil to city restaurant and proud partner with Mill Village Farms.

Whether or not you can attend the service project, please pray for the fruits of these labors that will feed the bodies and souls of our Greenville family of faith.

What to bring: Hydrate and eat a good breakfast prior to the service time. Dress appropriately for the weather, i.e. moisture wicking/light weight material and sneakers/boots. Bring gloves, hats, eye protection, etc., and any desired personal gardening tools, though they will have plenty there. Consider bug repellent, sun screen, and ensure having on hand personally required medications (epinephrine autoinjectors – EpiPens, inhalers, etc.).
