One of our young adult members and active youth ministry leader at Our Lady of the Rosary, Megan R., woke up early this morning to travel with 20 teens to Washington, DC for the 2014 March for Life! This event is held on the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision that made abortion legal throughout the U.S. More than 55 million children’s lives have been lost to abortion and there are many who suffer their loss, often in silence. Please pray for the safe journey of the hundreds of thousands attending! Even from Greenville, SC there are plenty of things we can do to support March for Life:
- It is not too late to join in prayer with the Bishops to end abortion. Click here for a way to participate.
- If you or someone you know is suffering after abortion, confidential non-judgmental help is available: Call Project Rachel’s national toll-free number: 888-456-HOPE(-4673) or visit HopeAfterAbortion.org.
- Continue to share the truth about abortion and the humanity of the unborn child. One way to do this is through social media. Throughout this Sanctity of Life Month and leading up to the March for Life on the 22nd, pro-lifers are encouraged to upload a photo to Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter with the hashtag #WhyWeMarch and the reason you’d like to share for “why we march” for life on January 22nd.
